April 21, 2008: “While some at the conference were skeptics about UFOs until they witnessed a sighting, Terri Mansfield said that she had believed in life outside of Earth ever since she was a little girl.
"I used to look up at the sky and wonder where I came from," she said.
“Eleven years ago, Mansfield witnessed a light formation over Phoenix that some said was a UFO. The event got much press coverage. Mansfield is featured in a documentary called The Phoenix Lights.”

Angelia - I'm here with Dr. Lynne Kitei at The X-Conference, and this woman has an amazing story. She has an amazing movie out, she's already had an amazing book, and it's been great to meet her and visit with her. Now Lynne, what brings you to this conference?
Lynne - Actually, we're so proud. This has been a labor of love and also a work in progress for the last ...for me, it's been eleven years ...but for the documentary, it's been for the last four years. We just signed with a wonderful distributor, Vanguard Cinema, to get it out internationally. It's time. It wasn't really ready before. We've added new sightings, new interviews, new data, and now it is just such a joy to be able to share. Astronaut Edgar Mitchell is in it ..he's wonderful..as well as a 911 police operator who has come forward recently, to say that not only did they get hundreds of calls... but she really confirmed what thousands of other witnesses have shared that they saw during the Mass Sighting.

Phoenix UFO Video Shot by CNN Reporter
There is an interesting comment, that different light formations, along with changing color lights and blinking patterns, were noticed. Perhaps some kind of a communication signal or an expedition-team or strike-force formation.

"Where's the proof?" That's what the skeptics/debunkers always say when mindlessly pontificating about the validity of UFOs. Well, those skeptics just never watched Dr. Lynne Kitei's documentary. This is a remarkable film of one woman's determination to try and find answers to complex, but very real, issues.
Possibly the most important statement comes very early in the documentary. That is a title that goes, "Two Years Ago." This points out a critical fact; contrary to popular belief, The Phoenix Lights, as they came to be known, was not a singular event. In reality, Dr. Kitei's not only saw the massive event of March 13, 1997, she had been observing and documenting light phenomena for years before, and has continued to photograph them after the main event.

Symington waited ten years to announce his Phoenix encounter with “strange unidentified flying objects.” As former Governor, his alien stunt offended constituents and colleagues. Yet today, many in the Phoenix Lights community are grateful for the Arizona Republic’s reporting of Symington’s surprising announcement.
